Brilliant Stars booster packs come with 10 cards each—usually five commons, three uncommons, a reverse holo that could slot anywhere, and one rare or better to anchor the pull. From what I’ve seen in community openings on YouTube and Reddit, average hits shake out like this: you’re looking at about one full art V or VMAX per nine packs or so, Illustration Rares popping up roughly every 18 packs, and those hyper rare gold cards or rainbows maybe once every 100-150 packs. Secret rares overall hover around 1:100, while alternate arts can be trickier, sometimes stretching to 1:200 for the real standouts. It’s not a guarantee, but boxes of 36 packs tend to yield 4-6 ultra rares on average, with a couple of those being the VSTAR highlights. Collectors report solid odds on holos too, with reverses in every pack keeping things consistent.
Personally, I’m always wanting that Charizard V Alternate Art—those fiery wings against the starry background just pop. Then there’s the Umbreon VMAX Alternate Art, with its moody night scene that captures the essence perfectly. Arceus V Alternate Art is another one on my list, that cosmic energy swirl making it feel epic. Don’t sleep on the Shaymin VSTAR Rainbow Rare either, all sparkly with those floral accents. And yeah, the Sylveon V Alternate Art rounds it out, cute ribbons flowing in a whimsical pose.
Imagine cracking one open and spotting that foil flash right away, fingers crossed it’s not another duplicate holo.
